Kari Samantha (born April 28th on 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. Her career began when she was a teenager and is best famous for her character of Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a car salesman. Her siblings include three. The singer began performing in clubs as a teenager, and would sneak out of her home to perform. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, performer and actor. She began her acting career at the Wooster School at the age of 13 years old. Her birth date was the 28th of April, 1967 and was raised in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her German-American father is an auto dealer as well as a police official. Kari was born into an extended family with four children. Kari was a nightclub singer as teens, sneaking out of her home to perform. Kari aged 13 years old, attended the Wooster School as well as Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with a drama teacher known for her work as Uta. Kari began acting as a teen. Her breakthrough was in 1987 when she played MTV Remote Control.
