Anne Marie Tiernon began her career in 1989 at WMBD 31 in Peoria the state of Illinois. Later, in 1991 she went to Indianapolis. In Indianapolis, she was the anchor on the CBS-owned WISH-TV newscast at 11PM and was co-anchoring the show at 5:30 pm with Scott Swan. Tiernon worked as a newscaster at WLWT-TV, Cincinnati Ohio from 2000 until 2004. She was also the anchor for the 5:30 and 11:00 p.m. broadcasts, along with veteran newscaster Dave Wagner. Tiernon is an Emmy-winning journalist who has reported on significant and minor news stories over her professional career.
