Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer who is regarded as a member of the group One Direction. His parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on the 1st day of February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles, a former pupil of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools, created a band named White Eskimo along with three other students. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. He always had an interest in the arts, however he also wished to pursue a career as the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even a scout. While working in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles could afford to feed his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. Due to this, his band needed to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group was a fact in 2010, and the five young people were funded by Simon Cowell. They sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which allowed them to become the top contenders for winning the contest. The band was in the third position after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which won. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal to One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
